So I've redesigned my personal site, and decided to start a blog on it.
I'm possibly the last web developer on the entire interweb who did't
started a blog about six years ago, keep it up to date for a week, and
then never post anything ever again. So why do it, and why now?
I
already blog at work, but we purposefully keep that "consumer friendly"
-- talking about general stuff which affects clients, work and what the
company's been up to. There's a bit of an unwritten rule - anything
remotely technical is explained in layman's terms, no heavy duty code
or techy speak. It sends people to sleep.
So
basically I've started this to provide an outlet for a) more
technically focussed articles; and b) some of my personal projects.
That is, if I ever get the time to do any!
